Hyderabad: Hassannagar locality near Mir Alam Tank, a six-foot-long python caused panic when it was spotted on Saturday evening. Locals found the snake near an ice factory and called Shakeel Ali, a snake catcher, to the scene. After considerable effort, Ali successfully captured the python, which will be released back into the forest. Ali noted that the recent rains likely caused the python to move towards the residential area. Residents in the vicinity reported frequent sightings of various snake species around Mir Alam Tank, indicating that such encounters are not uncommon in the area.
Hyderabad: Three siblings, Medipally Tarun, S Anjali, and S Priyanka, were sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court in L B Nagar for murdering their father, Krishna, in 2018. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 500 on each of them.
