Shilpa Chowdary Arrested, Tollywood Producer was Allegedly Cheating Investors in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Narsingi police have arrested Tollywood film producer Shilpa Chowdary on charges of cheating.

According to police, Shilpa Chowdary had allegedly collected several crores of rupees from various investors including Tollywood film personalities, filmmakers, realtors in the form of business investments, and promised them high returns, and cheated them to the tune of crores of rupees.

Narsingi police, who registered an FIR last week, are investigating. She was questioned by the police and arrested on Friday night, further investigation is in process.
