Gaza: Hamas militants have launched dozens of rockets at Israel after Israeli airstrikes killed senior commanders and destroyed a multi-story building in Gaza.
According to a Media report, Several locations in southern Israel were hit by Palestinian rockets.
The most intense hostilities in seven years have killed at least 56 people in Gaza, including 14 children, and six in Israel, including an Israeli soldier and one Indian national, since Monday.
Israel’s Defense Minister vowed more attacks on Hamas and other Islamist militant groups in Gaza to bring “total, long-term quiet” before considering a cease-fire.
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says “This is just the beginning,” and “We’ll deliver them blows they haven’t dreamt of.”
Palestinian militants have been firing rockets into Israel since Monday night, and Israel has responded by hitting targets in the territory.
The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says that more than 360 people have been injured there since the conflict began, as well as the 65 who have died.
