Revenue Department Initiates Survey on Encroachments Along Musi River Bed in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Revenue Department officials in Hyderabad have launched a comprehensive survey to collect information about houses located on the Musi River bed, specifically within the Bahadurpura constituency. This action is part of a broader effort to address encroachments and ensure proper management of properties in the flood-prone riverbed areas.

The survey is being carried out by five teams, each led by local revenue officers, with police personnel providing security and assistance. The teams are focusing on three primary areas: Kishan Bagh, Asad Baba Nagar, and Nandimusalai Guda, where approximately 386 houses have been identified as being situated within the Musi riverbed.

Under the supervision of Bahadurpura Tehsildar Chandrasekhar Goud, the officials are collecting detailed information about the families living in these houses, documenting their residency and property status. Four other Tehsildars are participating in the exercise to ensure its thoroughness and efficiency.

Given the sensitivity of the situation, the Bahadurpura police have put in place extensive security measures to prevent any disruptions or potential conflicts during the survey.
