Hyderabad: Ramoji Rao, the head of Ramoji Film City and the ETV network, passed away at the age of 87 in Hyderabad. Also known as Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, he was a prominent media tycoon and film producer. Rao was moved to a private hospital in Nankramguda from his residence in Ramoji Film City after his health deteriorated on the afternoon of June 7.Cherukuri Ramoji Rao was an influential Indian media baron, entrepreneur, and film producer.
