Warangal: A 38-year-old railway employee named Dyavara Raju ended his life at the railway station in Raghunathpally mandal, Jangaon district. Raju, a gateman at Nidikonda Railway gate, had accrued debts of Rs 20 lakh from high-interest loans taken to fund his addiction to online gaming. Unable to repay the loans and driven to depression, he committed suicide by stepping in front of a running train. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son. The police, alerted by locals, responded to the incident, transported the body for post-mortem at a government hospital in Jangaon, and initiated an investigation.
