Hyderabad: Scores of activists from various student unions were taken into custody following a protest at the residence of Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy in Bhoomanna Galli, Kacheguda. The protest, which took place on Saturday morning, centered around issues related to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
The demonstrators, who were denied permission to meet with the minister, attempted to force their way into the apartment complex, prompting the police to intervene and arrest the student leaders and activists involved.
