Protest on PM Modi Visit to Bangladesh, 4 Killed in Police Firing

Police fired rubber bullets on crowd protesting during a demonstration against the visit of Indian PM Narendra Modi

Bangladesh, 26 March: At least four protestors died in Chittagong, Bangladesh on Friday after police fired rubber bullets on crowd protesting during a demonstration against the visit of Indian PM Narendra Modi.

Rafiqul Islam, police spokesperson told media, “We had to fire teargas and rubber bullets to disperse them as they entered a police station and carried out extensive vandalism.”

According to local people, protests against PM Modi’s visit also spread in the capital Dhaka, in which dozens of people, including two journalists.
