• Abduction: Vigenesh took the girl to his friend Saketh’s house in Chatrinaka without informing her parents.
• Relationship Troubles: Vigenesh fought with her over calls she made to other men but later reconciled.
• Fake Marriage: On November 8, the girl insisted on marriage. Vigenesh staged a symbolic wedding by exchanging garlands and tying a thaali.

The Crime

• That evening, after another argument, Vigenesh banged her head against a wall, injuring her severely.
• He then strangled her with a saree, killing her.
• With help from Saketh and his wife Nandini, Vigenesh dumped the body in an open area at Tukkuguda.

• Police detained Vigenesh, who confessed to the crime.
