Hyderabad, 09 March: Hyderabad city police in close coordination with forest department authorities rescue a live BLACK BUCK (deer) and arrested 3 animal poachers.
3 persons Chavan Shanker Baba, Mohd. Zubair, and Mohd. Salmanuddin were arrested on charges of wild animal hunting and selling to needy customers. Police also seized slaughtered deer parts a car and 3 cell phones.
Chavan Shanker Baba professionally farmer, native of Chata, Nirmal turned his attention towards hunting Deer and other wild animals in order sale and earns easy money. Mean time he came into contact with known person by name Mohd. Zubair, resident of Nizamabad who is mediating in sale and purchase of deer meat and live deer. Subsequently, Mohd. Zubair came into contact with his friend by name Salmanuddin @ Salman wherein the said Salman shared about his friend’s interest in eating deer meat and offers to provide deer meat.
As per the requirement of Salman, Mohd Zubair contacted Chavan shaker Baba to arrange deer. Accordingly, Chavan Shaker hunted two deer.
On preliminary enquiry, Chavan Shanker Baba and Mohd Zubair committed same offence several times earlier also.
The accused and seized objects handed over to forest department police for taking further action.
