Hyderabad: Under the guidance of Sri C.V. Anand, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, and Sri P. Viswa Prasad, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), the Hyderabad Traffic Police carried out Operation #ropehydtp on the Tolichowki-Shaikpet stretch in the jurisdiction of Traffic PS Tolichowki.

Key actions included:

• Removal of encroachments along the stretch to ensure smoother traffic flow.
• Destruction of 1,115 sirens and 625 multi-toned horns confiscated in the past month.

The operation aims to:

• Enforce traffic discipline.
• Reduce noise pollution caused by illegal and excessive use of sirens and horns.
• Enhance road safety across Hyderabad City.

The drive will continue as part of ongoing efforts to improve urban mobility and create a safer, more orderly traffic environment.
