“We will try to provide the medicine or the oxygen cylinder at the doorstep of the patient”
Hyderabad: The AIMIM and Owaisi launched and Covid Help Line and Oxygen Bank at the Aghapura function hall which includes doctors’ team, Oxygen Bank, and medicine.
The help line and Covid War Room is established under the initiative by Majlis Charity Educational and Relief Trust in collaboration with Axis Foundation on Monday.
A team of twenty executives and doctors will be present to guide Covid19 patients and their attendants on treatment. People can contact the helpline on 73066-00600 from 6 AM till midnight.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi while launching the helpline said, “Depending upon the requirement as suggested by the doctors, medicines and oxygen cylinders will be provided to the patient,”
For the time being, around 250 oxygen cylinders and Kits with essential medicine are kept at the Covid War Room set up at the Aghapura function hall. “We will try to provide the medicine or the oxygen cylinder at the doorstep of the patient,” Owaisi told reporters.
Owaisi said there is a need to react beyond politics in the current situation where the COVID-19 virus is throwing the claw.
The doctors at help line will be assisted by the Deccan Alumni of North America (DANA) team, and soon DANA will provide online counseling to the patients and the helpline will be functional round the clock,” Owaisi further said.
