Optional, Physical Classes with Parents Consent or Online Classes: Govt Tells High Court

Hyderabad: Telangana government informed the Telangana High Court on Wednesday that parents’ consent for children to attend physical classes is mandatory from 1st July.

Sandeep Kumar Sulthania, Secretary, Telangana Department of Education, submitted in the High Court through the Advocate General, that online classes would continue simultaneously with physical classes, and students can select either of them, however, those children opting for physical classes will have to produce consent of their parents.

The modalities of reopening the schools are being studied and would be announced soon.
