Hyderabad: K T Rama Rao (KTR), TRS working president on Thursday said there is no ties with the AIMIM Hyderabad Municipal elections to be held on 1st December 2020.
Responding the BJP claims that TRS of resorting to politics of appeasement, KTR on Thursday said there was no ties with the AIMIM.
Countering BJP claims that the TRS is planning to nominate the Mayor’s post to the AIMIM, KTR said: “Why will the TRS even think of such a move when a woman candidate from the TRS party is going to be the next Mayor of Hyderabad on December 4.”
KTR further said that, “In the last 2016 elections, the TRS won five seats from the old city and this time we are expecting to win 10 seats by defeating the AIMIM in those seats. There are no ties with MIM.”
KT Rama Rao was clearly said that the TRS party would go it alone in the GHMC election. “We neither have any alliance with any party nor are we extending our support to any party,” he said.
