Night Curfew Forces Traders, Shopper to Wake Up Early

Hyderabad: The night curfew in Hyderabad forces the traders rolling up their shutters much earlier than the usual shopping hours, and forcing also the shoppers to wake up early specially during Ramadan month.

In view of the night curfew, around 6,000 shop owners between the Madina Building and Shahalibanda junction are setting up their business from 9/10 AM and are getting ready to welcome the customers.

And due to night curfew even shoppers are now getting used to the new timing.

According to Abid Mohiuddin, general secretary of Old City Traders Association, “Shops are being opened in the morning so that there is no crowd in the establishments. People will have sufficient time to shop and move out safely. Slowly customers are understanding the situation and will plan their shopping schedule accordingly,” he said.
