  2. Details of the Leak: One of the arrested accused, Sikandar, confessed to providing the question paper to four candidates, including the aforementioned students. He claimed the leak occurred a day before the exam and involved a payment of Rs 30 to 32 lakh. Sikandar met with collaborators Nitish and Amit Anand at a government office in Patna to orchestrate the leak.
  3. Police Investigation: The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of the Bihar Police recovered six post-dated cheques issued to individuals who allegedly provided the leaked papers. The EOU Deputy Inspector General, Manavjit Singh Dhillon, confirmed that these cheques were linked to demands for over Rs 30 lakh per candidate for access to the leaked papers.
  4. Extent of the Network: Thirteen people are currently in jail in connection with the case. Both Amit and Nitish have confessed their involvement, stating they obtained the paper on May 4 and facilitated a session where candidates were made to revise the answers.
