Nalgonda: In a decisive move against noise pollution, the Nalgonda police destroyed over 80 modified motorcycle silencers at the Clock Tower Centre. These silencers, known for generating excessive noise, had been illegally modified by motorcyclists, causing a disturbance in the town. The police carried out this action as part of their ongoing efforts to maintain public peace and ensure compliance with noise regulations.
Superintendent of Police Sharat Chandra Pawar supervised the operation and emphasized that the police will continue to take stern action against those who create a nuisance with modified motorcycle silencers. He warned that such activities not only violate noise pollution laws but also disturb the daily lives of residents.
SP Pawar further stated that the police are committed to curbing this menace and will conduct regular checks to identify and penalize violators. The destruction of these silencers serves as a strong message to the community that the Nalgonda police will not tolerate any actions that disrupt the peace and tranquility of the town.
