Mumbai, 14 March: Sachin Vaze, Mumbai Assistant Police Inspector, who was under investigation for the mysterious death of Mansukh Hiran, SUV owner which was found at industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s residence last.
Sachin Vaze, was summoned by National Investigating Agency (NIA) on Saturday to its office to question him in connection to the case involving the threat to the Ambani family, has been on Saturday by the NIA.
Mansukh Hiran wife alleged that the SUV was lent out to the cop Sachin Vaze, for four months till February 5, a few days after which it was reported stolen.
On February 25, the car was found near Mr. Ambani’s residence with explosives and a threat letter inside car. The car was belonging to Mr. Hiran, but he claimed it had been stolen a week earlier.
The case got mysterious when Hiran was found dead in a creek in Thane on March 5. His wife then accused Mr. Vaze of being involved in his death.
