Hyderabad: Mild tension occurred at Basthi Dawakhana in Sultan Shahi on Thursday when BJP activist faced MIM activist and Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri MIM’s Yakutpura legislator over the distribution of flood relief of Rs.10,000.

Quadri went to inaugurate a Basthi Dawakhana along with GHMC officials and local public representatives, the incident happened around 11.30 pm today.

BJP activist ran towards Quadri raising slogans against him and wanted an clarification over the distribution of the relief amount. MIM activists reacted with slogans in favour of MLA Quadri following in tension rising in the area.

Sutan Shahi Police rushed to the spot and escorted away mr. Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri MIM’s Yakutpura legislator.

The locals of Sultan Shahi complained that they did not get the relief amount and claimed that there were discrepancies in the distribution of flood relief money.

As a preventative measure, police personnel have been positioned in the area to ensure peace between them.
