Hyderabad: MG Chandra Sekhar known as Guna (38), pretended to be a job consultant from KNR Colony in Nizampet and a native of Krishna district of AP, cheated more than 70 job seekers and collected up to 2 crore rupees. Police seized 15 lakh Rupees, fake job offers and other material from him.

According to Police, Guna before worked as a computer associate in a tow different software companies in Hyderabad and West Bengal till 2013. He then formed a job consultancy firm in Kukatpally Housing Board and used the e-mail addresses and details of several IT firms without their permission.

He prepared fake offer letters and sent them to candidates through the illegal email IDs of companies and took money from them, police said.

The Madhapur Special Operations Team on Friday busted a fake job racket and arrested him for cheating multiple people after promising them jobs in famous IT firms here.
