Hyderabad Central Mall at Punjagutta to Pay Rs 15,000 for Charging Rs 10 over Bag with Logo.
Hyderabad:  Hyderabad Central mall at Punjagutta were instructed to pay by The Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to a customer Rs 15,000 for charging Rs.10 on a paper bag with its logo.

The complainant, Venkatasiva Bejjam, a resident of Kavadiguda, had purchased a shirt for Rs. 1,400 from the mall, and mall charged him rupess 10 for bag which was given to him carrying purchased shirt.

Venkatasiva Bejjam approached the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, which has now asked the Hyderabad Central Mall to Rs.15,000 as compensation to the complainant.
