Hyderabad: Malayalam actor Vinayakan was arrested at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad after he allegedly caused a disturbance and engaged in a heated argument with a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel. The incident occurred while Vinayakan was on his way from Kochi to Goa, with a connecting flight scheduled at the RGIA in Shamshabad.

Incident Details:

• Vinayakan arrived at RGIA from Kochi and was set to board a connecting flight to Goa. However, he reportedly got into an argument with the gate staff at the airport.
• The altercation escalated when the actor, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, started misbehaving with the airport staff.
• CISF personnel noticed the commotion and attempted to calm him down. However, Vinayakan allegedly continued to misbehave, even with the CISF officers.
• Following this, the CISF personnel overpowered him and handed him over to the RGIA police for further action.

Police Action:

• RGI Airport police station inspector K Balaraju confirmed that a case has been registered against Vinayakan under the City Police Act. The police are currently investigating the incident to gather more details.
