After getting bail in this case, he can now return home after being released from the hospital.
Patna, 17 April: Lalu Prasad Yadav, Former Chief Minister Bihar, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader who was in jail, granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court today in a case linked to the Bihar fodder scam.
Lalu Yadav was serving his jail term in what was known as the “Dumka Treasury Case”, where he was convicted of withdrawing ₹ 3.13 crore from the treasury in the city in Jharkhand, formerly in Bihar.
Lalu Yadav, is currently being treated in Delhi’s AIIMS hospital.
He was earlier got bail in three other cases but was remain in Judicial custody in “Dumka Treasury Case”.
After getting bail in this case, he can now return home after being released from the hospital.
Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh instruct while grating bail to former chief minister, He can neither leave the country without permission nor change his address and mobile number during the bail period.
