Hyderabad: The Telangana government today launched 3,000 public Wi-FI hotspots as part of the Telangana state’s ‘Hy-Fi’ program.
IT and industries minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched the Wi-FI hotspots powered by Act Fibernet.
KT Rama Rao (KTR) also said that the Telangana government will consider having public Wi-Fi hotspots at metro rail stations as well. ”
KTR also urged in a tweet to the Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijaylakshmi to ensure that the new public Wi-Fi hotspots function well. “They (Act Fibernet) have put up 50 people as support, but the city should also do its part,”
