Hyderabad: KT Rama Rao, today on Sunday inaugurated Panchatatva park (based on therapeutic concept) at the Indira Park in Hyderabad. A circular track (Acupressure walk) in the park is being developed using eight elements to walk which include 20mm Stone, 10mm Stone, 6mm chips, River Stone, Rough sand, Tree Bark, Black Soil, and water.

As per the instructions of KTR, Municipal Administration Minister, GHMC has developed 17 Panchatatva Parks in different zoned of Hyderabad keeping in mind the health and medical needs of the citizens on the concept of acupressure and other therapies.
The walkways are done from very hard paining surface to smooth and relaxing component by which the blood circulation in the body improves curing several ailments of the body. This also helps the senior citizens and the persons who have knee joint pains and cannot walk for longer distances, officials said.
Walking barefoot activates acupressure points. According to experts, panchatatva walk can control insomnia, improve eyesight, nervous system, immunity, help in menstrual and hormonal issues, reduce inflammation, enhance cardiovascular activity, maintains blood Pressure, clears mind, and improves mood.
In addition to Panchatatva Parks, The Govt of Telangana is developing 50 major theme parks across Hyderabad, adopting different themes. These parks will be opened to the public in phased manner by the end of 2020. A few of the themes include Science Theme Park, Rain Garden, 7 Wonders Park, Adventure Park.
