Hyderabad: K Chandrashekhar Rao, Telangana state CM and TRS President extended the TRS party’s complete support to the Bharat Bandh called by farmers opposing all three Agriculture Acts on Tuesday.
KCR asked TRS members to directly participate in the bandh and appealed to people of Telangana State to make the bandh a success and stand by the farmers.
In a series of tweets statement KCR and TRS supports the farmers protest and stated that the farmers were waging a just fight against the agricultural laws brought by the BJP goverment.

- “TRS President and Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao had extended the TRS’ total support to the Bharat Bandh declared on Dec 8 by the farmers. He said that the TRS rank and file would participate actively in the proposed Bandh.”
- “CM Sri KCR justified the support by stating that the farmers are legally agitating against the Centre’s Farm Bills. Sri KCR recalled and reminded that since the Farm Bills would harm the interests of the farmers, the TRS opposed them in the Parliament.”
- “CM Sri KCR felt that there is a need to continue the agitation till the Farm Bills are withdrawn. He said that the TRS would work to make the Bharat Bandh successful. He also appealed to people to stand by farmers and make the Bandh successful.”

K Chandrashekhar Rao, Telangana state CM said that, TRS opposed the agriculture bills in the Parliament as they were harmful to the interests of the farmers and asserted that the protest and fights has to continue up until the new agricultural laws are abolished.
