Hyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU) is preparing to conduct for the Final year Engineering and pharmacy Exam by setting up self-centers.
All final year students can now appear for their final year exams at parent colleges instead of the host college because of the CoronaVirus pandemic.
“Students can now appear for exams in their parent colleges. JNTU will deploy sitting and flying squads in self-centers to control and stop the malpractice and cheating. JNTU senior officials said.
The university is also is studying the possibility of holding the exams at centers situated close to the hometowns of students. To this effect, the university has instructed college authorities to contact the students and take three options (order of preference) to appear for their final year exams.
The regions, which students opt for, must have at least one JNTU affiliated college, and those who wish to appear for the exams at their parent college need not give options.
If a student does not give any option, he/she will be allotted exam center at the parent college. The university has instructed colleges principal to present the details of choices of students by August 25, 2020, to the JNTU.
