Hyderabad: New Delhi: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, Jishnu Dev Varma, will be the new Telangana governor. President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Jishnu Dev Varma as new governor for the state and C P Rad hakrishnan, who was holding additional charge of Telangana, has been appointed as the new governor of Maharashtra.
Jishnu Dev Varma is an Indian politician currently serving as the Governor of Telangana, he is from Tripura. He previously served as a 2nd Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of Tripura from 2018 to 2023. Jishnu Dev Varma was elected from the Charilam constituency in Tripura Legislative Assembly Assembly From 2018 till 2023.He is also President of Badminton Association of India.
