India to Celebrate Eid on Thursday

Hyderabad: India will mark Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday since the crescent moon was not observed today, signaling the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan tomorrow. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Hyderabad convened its monthly session to spot the Shawwal crescent moon. This committee is tasked with confirming the moon sighting and determining the Eid-ul-Fitr date in India following Shariah guidelines.
