IMD Hyderabad Issues Yellow Alert: Heavy Rains Predicted Across Telangana for Next Two Days

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has forecasted heavy rains over the next two days in the city and parts of Telangana, issuing a yellow alert for several districts. These include Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtiyal, Rajanna Sircilla, and others, which are expected to experience thunderstorms and lightning.

On Friday night, Hyderabad witnessed heavy rainfall, with Bansilalpet receiving the highest at 68.5 mm, followed by Gunfoundry at 68.3 mm, Uppal at 67 mm, and several other areas recording similar amounts. The rains were widespread, impacting most parts of the city.

According to the forecast, similar weather conditions are likely to continue across Telangana on September 23, with light to moderate rains expected on September 24 and 25. A brief pause is predicted on September 26, but rains are set to return from September 27 to 28.
