Hyderabad & Telangana Cricketers Shining in IPL 2025!

Hyderabad: Several cricketers from Hyderabad and Telangana are participating in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). Notable players include:​

Mohammed Siraj: The Hyderabad-born fast bowler was acquired by Gujarat Titans for ₹12.25 crore. Previously representing Royal Challengers Bangalore, Siraj continues to play for Hyderabad in domestic cricket. ​

Tilak Varma: Namboori Thakur Tilak Varma, a left-handed batsman and part-time off-spinner from Hyderabad, was retained by Mumbai Indians for ₹8 crore. He made his international debut for India in August 2023 and was part of the Indian squad that won the 2023 Asia Cup. ​

Nitish Kumar Reddy: An all-rounder from Andhra Pradesh, Reddy was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for ₹6 crore after his successful Test debut against Australia. ​

    Sheikh Rasheed: Hailing from Guntur, Rasheed was acquired by Chennai Super Kings for ₹30 lakh. He had been part of CSK in the previous season, reflecting the franchise’s confidence in his potential. ​

    Tripurana Vijay: A batting all-rounder from Srikakulam, Vijay was selected by Delhi Capitals for ₹30 lakh. His inclusion highlights the growing recognition of talent from the region. ​

    Satyanarayana Raju: This fast bowler from Kakinada was signed by Mumbai Indians for ₹30 lakh. Known for his sharp pace and consistency in domestic circuits, Raju is set to make his IPL debut this season. ​

    Paila Avinash: An all-rounder from Visakhapatnam, Avinash was acquired by Punjab Kings for ₹30 lakh. His versatility will be a valuable addition to the Punjab squad. ​
