Hyderabad: The incident occurred on Monday and came to light late on Tuesday after a video went viral on social media.

Sri Lakshmi (30) a doctor by profession thrashed a watchman after an argument took place between the two. the incident took place on August 24 in Hyderabad.

Earlier Sri Lakshmi had a fight with her mother, subsequently mother instructed watchman not to allow her daughter into the apartment without her permission,  and on several occasions earlier too, the security guard had stopped the doctor due to instructions from her mother.

The Chandanagar police have booked a case against a woman doctor for allegedly abusing and thrashing the watchman of an apartment in Reddy Colony.

Sri Lakshmi is seen in a video driving a white car and beating up the watchman after an argument. The woman can be seen using her footwear to assault the watchman, the watchman of the apartment has been identified as Mohammed Rafiq, the incident occurred when Sri Lakshmi reached the Reddy colony to meet her mother and security guard had stopped the doctor due to instructions from her mother. Sri Lakshmi got furious and thrashed the watchman, police said.

Watchman Rafiq had lodged a complaint, following which a case was booked and is being investigated.
