Hyderabad Police Gear up for GHMC Election

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad city police are all geared up for the coming GHMC elections on 1st December in Hyderabad city and ready for any high alert to prevent the risks of any unfortunate situation.

Anjani Kumar, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police on Wednesday said an adequate force from various police department/wings were already deployed across city as part of the foolproof bandobast plan for guaranteeing peaceful Municipal elections.

Top cops of Hyderabad city police including Mr. Anjani Kumar (Commissioner of Police),  Smt. Shikha Goel (Addl CP Crime & SIT),  Mr. DS Chauhan (Addl CP L&O), Mr. Tarun Joshi (Jt. CP. Special Branch) and Mr Gajarao Bhupal (DCP) along with about 1000 Armed and Other forces participated in flag peace march from the Charminar.

Flag peace March held from Charminar-Rajesh Medical Hall- Nagulchinta X roads- Sudha Library- Hari bowli- Volta- Ethebar chowk- Gulzar house- Charminar.

Later Mr. Anjani Kumar (Commissioner of Police) told that the main purpose of this Piece March is to create reassurance in the minds of the people. And he further informed that these arrangements are all for people safety and security for them to come fearlessly and exercise your right to vote on the election day.

Police teams responsible for Social media were following up the complaints lodged through Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp. “The citizens should not believe in rumors and unnecessarily forward any post on social media platforms without verifying it,” he requested.
