Hyderabad Flood Relief Distribution Resumes Direct in Bank Accounts

Hyderabad: K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Telangana Chief Minister announced the that the distribution of the interim flood relief of Rs.10,000 to flood affected families in October flood by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

  • Telangana government on n Tuesday, 8th December deposited Rs.7.94 crore in the bank accounts of 7939 families that were affected by the rains and flood in October
  • Familied are requests “Not” to visit any Mee Seva centers for any kind of enrollment.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials said before the GHMC elections, Rs.649 crore was already distributed as financial aid to 6 lakh and 49 thousand families.

Prior to GHMC elections Telangana State Election Commission (SEC) instructs to put on hold the registration and distribution of relief to flood-affected families till declaration of the GHMC election results in order to follow the election model code of conduct.
