Hyderabad: In a significant operation, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner’s Task Force dismantled a major prostitution ring on Wednesday night, apprehending three key organizers from a hotel and rescuing six victims. The arrested individuals include Surya Kumari alias Rani (38), K. Vijaya Sekhar Reddy (49), and Arkokit Mukharjee (30). Two other associates managed to escape.
According to DCP Task Force Rashmi Perumal, the ring, led by Rani, was recruiting women from Tripura, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. These women were housed in SR Nagar and Jubilee Hills and then sent to hotels and private farmhouses based on client requests.
During the raid, the police seized Rs. 89,500 in cash, two cars, iPhones, mobile phones, SIM cards, Aadhar cards, bank passbooks, and debit cards.
