Hyderabad Old City Metro to be Completed by 2029 – CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assured the completion of the Old City Metro line in Hyderabad before the next elections, promising to seek votes based on this fulfillment. He expressed willingness to support AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in contesting on a Congress ticket and make him deputy chief minister if victorious. Criticizing the previous BRS government for delaying the project by a decade, Reddy highlighted Congress’s redesign of the metro route and ongoing land acquisitions for Phase II, including a 33 km stretch for Airport connectivity.
