Hyderabad, 18 FEB: A huge rock fell on the residential houses in late midnight in Ahmed Nagar, First Lancer area from top of nearby hills.

One house was completely damaged while the boundary wall of adjacent house was damaged. However, there were no report of any casualties from the incident.

Meraj Begum, who’s house was damaged said, “I have been staying in the area for the past 35 years, the falling of the rocks has damaged my house,” 

Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijaylaxmi immediately visited the damaged houses and instructed the municipal official to clean off the area by removing the rocks with the help of equipment.
