Hyderabad: Since morning rain lashing in different areas of the city and heavy rains to be expected during the next 72 hours, i.e. till Thursday.

The anticipated rain could be in the range of 90mm – 160mm. This could lead to a flood-like situation and extremely serious as there is every chance of heavy rains  and related flooding issues, GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar said.

KT Rama Rao, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister has asked GHMC officials to be on the alert.
