Hyderabad: Makers of the seasonal delicacy, Haleem, are planning to curtail their seasonal business in view of the resurge of Covid-19 cases across the city.
More than 2,000 registered restaurants who prepares and serves one of the most favorable seasonal ‘Haleem’ during the month of Ramzan.
Last year, restaurants in the city did not make the favorite dish due to the lockdown across the country.
This year all Restaurant are planning to use packing and dispensing Haleem has increased as parcels is the new custom at most restaurants. In view of the surge Covid-19 cases, the restaurant owners expect more parcels to be sold.
Pista House, Mohd Abdul Majeed said year they had not yet decided on setting up temporary outlets across the city and our plan is to restrict the sale of Haleem at only Pista House outlets across the city.
Shah Ghouse Hotel, Mohd Irfan told reporters, we need to ensure the entire quantity is sold and that there is no wastage due to pandemic norms/restriction.
