Hyderabad: Four assailants attacked and killed a young man after an argument over a woman in the Patigadda locality.
Hyderabad: Mohd Osman (22) worked as a welder and was a resident of Pattigadda in Begumpet police station limits was murdered by a group of individuals at Patigadda in Begumpet late Tuesday night, according to police reports.
Incident Summary:
- Osman was near his home when four individuals, identified as Aejaz, Feroz, Sahil, and Rehan, confronted him and engaged in an argument over a woman.
- The argument escalated, and one of the assailants slit Osman’s throat, resulting in his immediate death.
- The perpetrators fled the scene immediately after the brutal attack.
Police Response:
- The Begumpet police were promptly informed and reached the scene.
- Senior officials, including DCP (North) Rashmi Perumal, ACPs Gopalkrishna (Begumpet) and Ramesh (Trimulgherry), and others, inspected the site.
- Special teams have been formed to apprehend the suspects.
- Police patrolling in the area has been increased following the murder.
