In Nagarkurnool’s Vanapatla village, a family of four tragically died early Sunday morning when a mud roof collapsed on them. The incident, which occurred around 2 am, was likely caused by recent heavy rains that weakened the structure. Bhaskar, 28, survived with injuries as he was sleeping outside during the collapse. His wife Padma, 26, their 6-year-old twins Pappi and Vasantha, and their 10-month-old son all perished. The bodies have been sent to a government hospital for autopsy.
