Flipkart Delivery Agent Murdered Over Mobile Phone Order in Lucknow

Lucknow: In a shocking incident in Lucknow, a Flipkart delivery agent, Bharat Kumar, was brutally murdered by two accused, Akash Sharma and Gajanan Sharma. The incident unfolded after the duo placed an order for two high-end mobile phones — a Vivo V40 Pro and a Google Pixel 7 Pro — through Flipkart.

Incident Overview

A missing report for Bharat Sharma, a Flipkart delivery boy, was filed at Chinhat Police Station. A crime team began investigating his disappearance. Detecting suspicious movements, the police requested a report of his scheduled deliveries from Flipkart. During the investigation, Akash Sharma confessed that he and his friend Gajanand had ordered two mobile phones using a friend’s phone. When Bharat arrived to deliver the phones, they strangled him with a laptop charger cable and disposed of the body in the Indira Canal. Akash Sharma has been arrested, and the search for the body is ongoing, according to DCP East Shashank Singh.

Method of the Crime

Once the delivery agent was subdued and killed, the two perpetrators stuffed his lifeless body into a large Flipkart bag used for deliveries. They then transported the body to a nearby canal, where they dumped it in an attempt to cover up the crime.
