Five More Airports, KCR asks Minister of Civil Aviation to Expedite in Telangana

Telangana State government can begin the infrastructure work at the earliest for starting the non-scheduled operator’s permit (NSOP) operations with its own state funds.

Hyderabad: K Chandrashekhar Rao, CM Telangana ask Hardeep Singh Puri, Civil Aviation Minister to expedite the establishing five more airports in Telangana.

K Chandrashekhar Rao, TS Chief Minister submitted a formal to Union Aviation Minister Hareeep Singh Puri during his visit to New Delhi.

CM K Chandrashekhar Rao said that once the statutory permissions were given, the Telangana State government can begin the infrastructure work at the earliest for starting the non-scheduled operator’s permit (NSOP) operations with its own state funds.

Chief Minister KCR, requested to Prime Minister immediately following the formation of Telangana State in 2014, to establish more airports in the State as it has only one airport in Hyderabad.
