Fire Breaks Out at Park Hyatt Hotel in Hyderabad; SRH Team Safe, No Casualties Reported

Hyderabad, April 14: A fire broke out on Monday morning at the prestigious Park Hyatt Hotel located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, triggering a swift response from the fire department. The incident occurred while the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team was staying at the hotel during the ongoing IPL 2025 matches.

According to reports, the fire originated on the first floor of the hotel and resulted in thick smoke spreading across the premises. The cause of the fire is yet to be officially confirmed, but preliminary visuals showed plumes of smoke emerging from the building.

Fire and emergency services acted promptly, with fire tenders rushing to the spot and dousing the flames before the situation could escalate. Quick response by firefighters ensured that the fire was contained, minimizing damage and preventing any injuries.

The Hyderabad District Fire Officer (DFO) confirmed that the SRH team had already checked out of the hotel earlier in the day, following their scheduled departure. The players were seen boarding their team bus and appeared to be in good spirits, with no members affected by the incident.

Thankfully, there have been no casualties or injuries reported among the hotel staff, guests, or emergency personnel.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the blaze and assess the extent of the damage to the property.
