Hyderabad: A film director, K. Janiah, died by suicide at a lodge in Kukatpally on Monday. Janiah checked into the lodge on the same day and was later found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room by the staff. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and shifted the body for postmortem. The Kukatpally police have registered a case and are investigating the reasons behind the suicide.
