Hyderabad: Telangana BJP MP Eatala Rajender is likely to be appointed as the President of the party’s state unit. Rajender, who was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Malkajgiri constituency in the recent elections, has been called to New Delhi by the party leadership. He is expected to meet with Union Minister and senior party leader Amit Shah.
The current state BJP President, G Kishan Reddy, was recently sworn in as a Cabinet Minister after being re-elected from the Secunderabad constituency. Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has also been sworn in as the Minister of State. Rajender, a former minister, was an aspirant for a position in the Union Cabinet but is now anticipated to lead the Telangana BJP.
Earlier… BJP candidate Eatala Rajender secured a decisive victory in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency, winning by over 3.6 lakh votes. This victory comes after his defeats in the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections in Huzurabad and Gajwel constituencies.
