Republic Day Violence Accused, Deep Sidhu Arrested by Delhi Police
New Delhi: Actor-activist Deep Sidhu, accused in the violence at the Red Fort complex in Delhi on 26th January’s Republic Day and during a farmers’ tractor rally has been arrested by the Delhi police today morning.
Protesters were seen climbing and placing a Sikh religious flag, besides fighting with the police.
Deep Sidhu who had claimed responsibility for hoisting the Nishan Sahib at the Red Fort during the tractor rally on R-Day.
Earlier, Delhi police had declared a Rupees One Lakh reward for leads on Deep Sidhu.
