Hyderabad: The Director of School Education in Telangana, EV Narasimha Reddy, has officially declared Dasara holidays for all types of schools—government, aided, and un-aided—from October 2 to October 14, 2024. This announcement aligns with the state’s Academic Calendar for the 2024-25 academic year.
The directive emphasizes that if any school management deviates from this holiday schedule, appropriate actions will be taken against them in accordance with the prevailing regulations.
The academic schedule following the holidays includes:
- Summative Assessment 1 (SA 1): October 21 to 28, 2024
- Formative Assessment 3 (FA 3): To be completed before December 17, 2024
- Formative Assessment 4 (FA 4): For Class X by January 29, 2025, and for Classes I to IX by February 28, 2025
- Summative Assessment 2 (SA 2): Scheduled from April 9 to 19, 2025, for Classes I to IX
- Pre-final exams for Class X: To be held before February 28, 2025
- SSC Board Exams: Planned for March 2025
