Hyderabad: A home guard at work with the Dabeerpura police station died due to CoronaVirus on Monday night. It is the second death of a cops in city, last month, another cop working at the Kulsumpura police station had passed away due to the CoronaVirus.

According to the police, the home guard with the symptoms of CoronaVirus sent for screening and tested positive and admitted in a private hospital at Malakpet by his family members on Saturday and later on Monday transferred him to Gandhi Hospital for a better treatment. The doctors at the Gandhi Hospital declared him brought dead,” Dabeerpura PS said.

All cops of Dabeerpura PS have been asked go to see the Goshamahal police stadium where the screening camp for policemen is being held each day, and also identifying the primary contacts of the home guard.
