Cleric Arrested for Cheating a Cancer Patient in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, 23 FEB: Cleric arrested by Hyderabad police for allegedly cheating a cancer patient Jameel Siddiqui and collecting Rs 2 lakh on pretext of arranging money from the CM’s Relief Fund.
Charminar police today arrested Mr. Ali Quadri for allegedly cheating a cancer from Bahadurpura on Tuesday on complain of patient, that Ali Quadri took Rs 2 lakh from Jameel Siddiqui (patient) in November 2020 for arranging money from the Chief minister relief fund for his treatment.
According to police, When Ali Quadri failed to arrange the fund Chief minister relief fund for treatment, the Jameel Siddiqui ask the 2 lakhs rupees back but Ali Quadri refused to return it.
Quadri is booked under IPC section 420 (Cheating) and 406 (Criminal Breach of Trust) has been first registered by the Banjara Hills police station later case had been transferred to Charminar police station.
Further investigation in process by police.
